David A. Coriale | President

David A. Coriale has been with DelCor since 1988. He has served as DelCor’s President and co-owner since 1990.

Prior to joining DelCor, Mr. Coriale was President and co-owner of Applied Computer Solutions, a consulting firm located in Syracuse, New York, which specialized in automation consulting, customized programming and technical systems implementations.

Mr. Coriale began his tenure at DelCor as a database programmer and gradually shifted his focus to Technology Management Consulting for associations and other nonprofit organizations. Mr. Coriale’s experience with Web strategy planning, process and business re-engineering, and technology management has made him an important catalyst for change in many organizations with which he has worked. His current emphasis is on working with nonprofit organizations and their Boards to: align technology initiatives with the organization’s strategic and tactical plans; develop goals and strategy plans for Web site development, use and testing; and develop usability testing plans to measure the ease with which Web-based tasks are accomplished. Mr. Coriale also serves as Project Manager for major Web redesign and integration projects.

Mr. Coriale, an MBA, also has the necessary knowledge to analyze financial, human resource, and other information technology related issues. In addition to his role as a consultant, he oversees the finance and administration activities at DelCor.

Since 1994, Mr. Coriale has been a member of the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE). Through his extended involvement with trade and professional associations, he was honored with a seat on ASAE’s Membership Development Committee from 2000-2003 and served as Chair in 2003. He has also served on ASAE’s Membership Section Council. He currently serves as chair of ASAE's 2010-2011 Technology Council. Additionally, Mr. Coriale is a member of CMSPro – International Association for Content Management Professionals and the Usability Professionals' Association. He is also currently the President of a local nonprofit school board. For the Georgetown University School of Continuing Studies, he instructs the course "System Requirements and Analysis."

Mr. Coriale has been recognized as an industry expert by several of the nationally published technology and association trade magazines. He is quoted on subjects related to the trends developing in the information technology arena and has written articles for ASAE’s Association Management and Executive Update magazines. He also speaks regularly at association and nonprofit events on various technology and management related topics, and has regularly presented educational sessions at the ASAE Annual Meeting since 1999. He has presented sessions on topics including telecommuting, content management systems and technology strategic planning.
